Starting salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually, based on skills and experience. For candidates based in Schweinfurt, Germany, compensation follows experience and local market standards.

What you will do

  • Lead a high-performing team of race technicians supporting professional teams and athletes.
  • Manage technical requirements for road, gravel, triathlon, and cyclocross racing in collaboration with product stakeholders.
  • Collect technical feedback from teams and provide input to product development.
  • Scout future teams and athletes and develop, negotiate, and manage sponsorship contracts.
  • Coordinate cross-functional sponsorship activation and represent racing in annual marketing and go-to-market planning.
  • Manage the racing budget and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Marketing, Communications, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of experience in sports marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of direct team management or related management experience.
  • Experience developing and executing global sports marketing strategies, with extensive knowledge of the global bike and race industry.
  • Strong communication, public speaking, organization, prioritization, budget analysis, and planning skills.
  • Strong bicycle mechanic skills, including complete race-bike assembly, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
