Events Manager (Medtech)

Location: Rockville, Maryland, USA; traditional office environment with travel required for events

Salary: $88,100–$134,375 annual base salary

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of tradeshows, conferences, VIP customer events, and annual sales meetings.
• Maintain the 18-month event calendar and coordinate contracts, vendors, booth logistics, shipping, installation, dismantling, and onsite services.
• Develop event budgets and forecasts, track expenses, process invoices, and prepare monthly and post-event reporting.
• Coordinate marketing materials, signage, collateral, promotional items, and print production with Marketing and Creative Design.
• Support field sales exhibits, Customer Briefings, and Experience Center initiatives.
• Administer the marketing document approval system and distribute final approved materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, events management, business administration, or a related field.
• At least five years of corporate and tradeshow management experience.
• Experience managing multi-project calendars, event details, budgets, forecasts, print production, and collateral.
• Advanced Excel and proficient MS Office skills.
• Strong organizational, project management, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel, including overnight stays and work outside normal business hours; ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs.
