Logistics & Distribution Specialist

Location: Onsite manufacturing and distribution environment; first shift, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Salary: $23.00–$24.00 per hour

hirify.global supports manufacturing and distribution operations through logistics, shipping, receiving, inventory coordination, and production support.

What you will do

• Receive incoming materials, unload trucks, verify shipment quantities, record receipts in the ERP system, and store materials in designated locations.
• Manage daily shipping and receiving activities while meeting productivity, quality, delivery, and customer service standards.
• Pick, pack, verify, and ship customer orders accurately and completely.
• Organize materials using 5S lean principles and support efficient material flow throughout the shop.
• Unload finished production goods and place them in designated picking areas.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, external logistics partners, and carriers while supporting process improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, shipping and receiving, or distribution.
• Experience with ERP systems and freight or carrier management tools.
• Knowledge of LTL and FTL freight processes, carrier selection, and rate coordination.
• Strong organization, documentation accuracy, communication, multitasking, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production and distribution environment.

• Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business.
• Interest in developing leadership skills and taking on increased responsibility.
