Software Engineering Co-Op (AI)

Location: Danvers, Massachusetts, United States; onsite

Salary: $23.50–$52.50 per hour

What you will do

• Develop and test software components for an upcoming Class III medical device.
• Connect and integrate new data sources into existing software architecture.
• Design, develop, and test software solutions using Agile methodologies and software engineering principles.
• Perform algorithm and data analysis, software and system troubleshooting, and supporting documentation.
• Support formal and informal software verification, validation, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with peers, managers, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Linux and at least one web UI framework, such as Angular.
• Coding experience in JavaScript, C, Lua, or Rust.
• Familiarity with basic statistical analysis and Microsoft Office products.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and timely execution.
• Permanently authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git through coursework or projects.
• Open-source contributions or a personal project portfolio.
