Intern - Software Development Engineer (AI)

Location: Arlington, Texas, United States; hybrid work with 2 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Build and enhance web, mobile, API, and data-driven software solutions with Agile development teams.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and team meetings.
• Assist with vulnerability remediation and the development of DevOps tooling, including pipelines and static scanning.
• Apply production-focused engineering practices centered on scalability, uptime, and rapid incident triage and resolution.
• Develop product features for data marketplaces, mobile applications, web applications, and API services.
• Complete the internship program capstone presentation and contribute to continuous improvement of product quality and time to market.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or Statistics, with at least one semester remaining at the start of the internship.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale; junior or senior standing is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to business leaders.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and conceptual skills, with attention to detail and deadline management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
