Software Engineer II (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with at least 1 day per week in the Springfield, Missouri or Birmingham, Alabama office; additional locations include Branson and Monett, Missouri. Travel: 5%. An onsite interview or in-person onboarding may be required.

Salary: $60,000–$77,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

What you will do

• Complete technical design, prototyping, software development, bug verification, and resolution in Visual Studio using C#.
• Analyze systems and perform programming activities, including debugging and SQL database scripting.
• Develop and test applications against business requirements and industry best practices.
• Deliver software into production and collaborate with QA to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Provide project estimates and progress updates through DevOps and Git.
• Collaborate with customer support to diagnose and resolve defects.

Requirements

• At least 18 months of object-oriented programming experience.
• Hands-on experience with autonomous AI agents and LLM orchestration.
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and adapt to a changing environment.
• Ability to work in the required hybrid arrangement in Springfield, Missouri or Birmingham, Alabama.

Nice to have

• Programming experience with C# and SQL.
• Understanding of image files at the hexadecimal level, including PDF, TIFF, and JPG.
• Experience with code management tools such as DevOps and GitHub.
