QC Lab Lead Tech Instrumentation (Laboratory Instrumentation)

Location: Pampa, Texas, United States; onsite, 8-hour day shift with possible overtime and call-outs

What you will do

• Coordinate and prioritize daily laboratory testing for research and development and commercial manufacturing.
• Perform and oversee routine, non-routine, and special testing according to approved procedures and ASTM standards.
• Review, validate, and communicate analytical results; escalate out-of-specification results and support corrective actions.
• Provide day-to-day technical leadership, onboarding, training, workload balancing, and support for laboratory personnel.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, maintain, and coordinate repairs for laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
• Maintain LIMS data, inventories, quality records, calibration files, controlled documents, audit readiness, and compliance with ISO, RC, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school education with technical or vocational training; a two-year college or technical degree in mathematics or science is preferred.
• 1–3 years of laboratory experience preferred, with general laboratory testing knowledge and mathematical problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and competent Microsoft Office and Outlook skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication, collaborative interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and the ability to organize data and plan work.
• Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for operating and performing basic service on laboratory equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lb, stand and focus for extended periods, and complete essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
