QC Inspection Technician IV (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Tempe Spares Mfg, Arizona, United States; onsite, 1st shift

Salary: $27.50–$37.40 per hour

What you will do

• Perform advanced incoming, in-process, dimensional, visual, and final inspections of precision-manufactured components.
• Operate and interpret results from CMMs, vision systems, gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other metrology equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, specifications, and customer requirements to determine product conformity.
• Manage multiple inspection priorities, maintain productivity and accuracy, and document results in quality systems and inspection records.
• Provide technical guidance on complex inspections, measurement methods, equipment use, and troubleshooting.
• Verify equipment calibration, support continuous improvement, communicate quality risks, and follow safety and cleanroom procedures.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in quality control inspection, dimensional inspection, precision manufacturing, or a related environment.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and inspection criteria.
• Proficiency with precision measurement equipment and automated or manual inspection systems.
• Ability to perform complex inspections independently, prioritize competing requirements, identify abnormalities, and escalate quality risks.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical education or certifications in quality, manufacturing, metrology, engineering technology, GD&T, or CMM operation are preferred.
• Must be able to work onsite in Tempe, Arizona, and follow cleanroom gowning, contamination-control, material-handling, EHS, and safety requirements.
