QC Tech (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Inspect molded and assembled products, components, purchased parts, assemblies, accessories, and materials for visual quality, dimensional accuracy, and conformance to specifications.
• Perform shift production acceptance checks and first article inspections using precision measuring and testing equipment.
• Collect and report data for major projects, process validations, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Create, update, and modify work instructions, inspection criteria, process documentation, and quality-system records.
• Write and edit vision-system programs to support consistent inspection across multiple shifts.
• Maintain inventory traceability for nonconformances, rework, and final release; prepare quality gages for calibration.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience or training.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, ERP-related functions, inspection equipment, gages, and fixtures.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and draw fact-based conclusions.
• In-depth understanding of ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 13485 quality standards.
• Ability to work 2nd and 3rd shifts in Rowland Heights.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of injection molding.
• ASQ certification.
