2nd Shift Human Resource Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, USA; onsite production environment supporting second and third shifts

What you will do

• Serve as the primary HR business partner for second- and third-shift manufacturing leaders and employees.
• Lead employee relations, investigations, performance management, corrective actions, engagement, and workforce stabilization initiatives.
• Coach supervisors, managers, and business leaders on employee relations, policies, talent management, and leadership effectiveness.
• Lead, develop, and supervise HR Generalists supporting off-shift operations.
• Partner with operations and talent acquisition teams on workforce planning, staffing, onboarding, retention, and workforce growth.
• Drive talent reviews, succession planning, employee development, organizational change, compliance, and workforce analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive HR experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, or operations environments.
• Strong experience with employee relations, investigations, performance management, conflict resolution, and risk mitigation.
• Experience coaching frontline and mid-level leaders and leading HR professionals or teams.
• Experience with workforce growth, high-volume staffing, organizational change, operational initiatives, and workforce metrics.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
• Experience using workforce analytics and reporting tools.
