Human Resources Generalist (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Bloomington, Minnesota, United States. Hybrid work may be available after the initial training period; the role includes regular presence in an office and manufacturing environment.

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 annual base salary.

What you will do

• Serve as a day-to-day HR contact for production employees, supervisors, managers, and plant leadership.
• Support recruiting activities, including job postings, applicant screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, background checks, and pre-employment requirements.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation covering safety, attendance, conduct, policies, and work rules.
• Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management, corrective actions, investigations, attendance concerns, accommodations, and documentation.
• Maintain confidential employee records and HRIS data, including status changes, job changes, and reporting.
• Support HR compliance, workforce communications, employee engagement, recognition programs, process improvement, and HR projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience may be considered.
• One to five years of progressive human resources experience, preferably in manufacturing, operations, industrial, or plant-based environments.
• Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, HR compliance, employee records, and HRIS data entry or reporting.
• Foundational knowledge of employment laws, wage and hour requirements, attendance practices, safety practices, timekeeping, and employee relations documentation.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organization, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, judgment, and confidentiality skills.
• Some projects may require U.S. Permanent Residency or U.S. Citizenship.
