Process Development Associate - Attribute Sciences (Biotech)

What you will do

• Develop and qualify analytical methods using HPLC, UPLC, and capillary electrophoresis.
• Conduct chromatographic fractionation, peptide mapping, intact mass, and other LC-MS studies for protein characterization and comparability.
• Develop, document, transfer, troubleshoot, and maintain analytical methods in collaboration with Attribute Sciences and Quality Control.
• Coordinate critical quality attribute identification and characterization, including chromatography fraction isolation and analysis.
• Conduct accelerated stability studies to define therapeutic degradation pathways.
• Evaluate novel analytical technologies and support commercial process development, process characterization, validation, regulatory filings, and health authority questions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or an associate’s degree with 2 years of scientific experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 4 years of scientific experience.
• Scientific background in method development and product characterization for therapeutic proteins.
• Preferred degree in biochemistry, analytical chemistry, protein chemistry, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multitask and manage complex projects.
• Self-directed approach and ability to work effectively in teams.
• Ability to work at the Thousand Oaks, California site.
