Insurance Advisor Trainee (Personal Insurance)

Location: Richardson, Texas, United States; onsite call center environment

Salary: $41,200–$67,900 annual base salary, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Complete a comprehensive four-month paid classroom training program covering personal lines insurance products and multiple carriers.
• Provide one-on-one insurance coverage guidance and recommend additional products and services based on customer needs.
• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls and email communication through the sales process; cold calling and lead generation are not required.
• Gather information across multiple systems for quoting, underwriting, and closing sales while meeting quality, efficiency, underwriting, and sales metrics.
• Build customer rapport, handle objections professionally, and apply coaching to improve performance.
• Obtain and maintain Property and Casualty or Personal Lines licenses in the resident state and required non-resident states.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain a Property and Casualty or Personal Lines insurance license within six months of hire; the license exam may be attempted up to two times.
• Prior call center and sales experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, a professional demeanor, adaptability, and the ability to multitask in a high-volume sales environment.
• Applicants must meet the licensing eligibility requirements of each applicable state; felony convictions or pending or unresolved court cases may affect eligibility.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
