Commercial Lines Account Manager (Property & Casualty Insurance)

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii, United States; hybrid schedule with occasional in-person client meetings

Salary: $65,000–$105,000 per year; target incentive of 5%

What you will do

• Manage 30–50 middle-market Commercial Lines accounts as the primary day-to-day client contact.
• Provide proactive client support, insurance technical expertise, coverage reviews, and responses to questions and requests.
• Market and place new and renewal Commercial Lines insurance, including preparing applications and identifying suitable carriers.
• Analyze carrier quotes and coverage options, recommend insurance programs, and negotiate with carriers.
• Manage renewal expirations, process policies, endorsements and audits, and prevent lapses in coverage.
• Coordinate with Account Representatives, Sales Executives, Account Executives, underwriters, and internal account strategy teams.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in a Commercial Lines insurance agency.
• Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance.
• Must hold or be willing to earn a Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal instruction and maintain high accuracy in agency management systems.
• Comfort with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
• College degree preferred; ARM, CIC, or CPCU designation preferred. Sagitta or ImageRight knowledge is an advantage.
