Workday Payroll - Sr Manager

Location: Chicago, United States — 550 Van Buren; travel up to 50% may be required

Base salary: $130,000–$190,000 annually. Total estimated compensation including annual incentive: $156,000–$222,000.

What you will do

• Lead Workday Payroll implementation lifecycles, including planning, configuration, design, build, conversion, training, go-live, and post-production support.
• Collaborate with hirify.global and client teams throughout consulting engagements.
• Manage projects of different scales and durations across multiple client engagements.
• Develop implementation documentation from meeting information and business requirements.
• Train and support the professional development of hirify.global staff in project management and technical areas.
• Identify business process modifications and contribute to testing and script development.

Requirements

• Workday HCM certification in Payroll.
• 8–10 years of Workday Payroll implementation experience.
• Prior management consulting experience in HR transformation.
• Excellent written and oral communication and strong relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical skills for translating discussions into documentation for project teams and participants.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% when requested by the client.

Nice to have

• Experience leading large-scale clients in higher education or university settings.
• Interest in learning new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies.
