Mgr HR Operations (Workday)

Location: Chicago, 20 S. Wacker

Salary: $103,500–$172,500 per year, plus annual target bonus and equity opportunity.

What you will do

• Lead the US HR Operations team, including day-to-day delivery, professional development, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Govern end-to-end Workday HCM processes, supervisory organizations, data changes, validation rules, and downstream integrations.
• Oversee AskHR service delivery using service analytics, CSAT metrics, reporting, and SLA performance to improve employee support.
• Manage complex compliance and audit inquiries from regulators, government agencies, and internal or external auditors.
• Partner with HR Technology on Workday enhancements, upgrades, testing, and global HR capability deployments.
• Lead change management, redesign scalable workflows, resolve escalated issues, and oversee strategic HR reporting.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in HR operations, including at least 2 years managing or supervising teams and complex data management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Deep expertise in Workday HR business processes, data transactions, reporting, and data integrity.
• Experience with Google Workspace and enterprise ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• Proven change leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Role based in Chicago, United States.
