Workday Configuration Analyst (Workday)

Location: Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, or Seattle, United States. The role follows a default-together policy and requires working in an office at least 80% of the time, averaging four days per week. Candidates outside the listed locations may apply if open to relocation to the United States.

Salary: $83,000–$124,000 annually for Zone C, $93,000–$139,000 annually for Zone B, or $98,000–$146,000 annually for Zone A.

What you will do

• Configure and support Workday HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and Learning modules.
• Build and optimize the Workday ecosystem and implement new functionality.
• Test configurations through unit testing and coordinate user acceptance testing across teams.
• Manage ambiguous projects from design through implementation and resolve configuration issues.
• Create advanced reports with complex calculated fields and conduct HR data reconciliations and audits.
• Train junior configuration specialists and maintain functional and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of Workday configuration experience across Workday modules.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, adaptability, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and work effectively under general supervision.
• Ability to work from or relocate to Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, or Seattle, with office attendance at least 80% of the time.
