LPN - Surgical Day Care - Full-Time (Days) 32hrs/week

Location: Lowell General Main Campus, Lowell, Massachusetts, United States. Onsite role, 32 hours per week, four days per week from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. No weekends or holiday requirements.

Salary: $30.00–$33.59 per hour, based on full-time equivalent.

What you will do

• Provide nursing care and implement care plans under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Administer medications and treatments while following clinical policies and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Assess and reassess pain, monitor patient responses, and communicate changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families about activities of daily living, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Document nursing interventions, patient responses, education, and clinical observations in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to support safe and continuous care.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Knowledge of the nursing process, medication administration, pain management, and patient care across the lifespan.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift, position, push, or transfer patients and equipment.
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program preferred.
