Strategic Sourcing Spec Sr

Location: Primarily based in a hirify.global location in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; or Birmingham, AL, with regular office or field attendance. Some remote work may be available in select geographic locations with approval, and occasional in-office participation may be required.

Base salary: $75,000–$125,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Manage RFx events from initial planning through contract execution.
• Research, evaluate, negotiate, and select suppliers for goods and services.
• Review complex vendor proposals and negotiate pricing and contractual terms.
• Develop supplier, deal, financial, and category strategies for strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Manage multiple projects across Risk, Fraud, Business Resilience, Supply Chain Operations, and other business areas.
• Facilitate project progress, lead steering committees, and report to executive leadership.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience; a bachelor's degree is typically required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with procurement, purchasing management, sourcing strategies, supplier management, supplier selection, vendor relationships, and vendor risk management.
• Experience using technology platforms supporting supply chain processes, including ERP, source-to-pay, and risk management systems.
• Experience sourcing technology products and services such as software, SaaS, and network solutions.
• Familiarity with products and services used by financial services organizations.
