Senior Director, Spend Management Services - Sourcing

Location: Hybrid work with three days per week in the office; office locations are Irving, TX, and Chicago, IL. Travel is required.

Estimated hiring range: $135,200–$236,600 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead a sourcing function by setting strategic priorities, operating rhythms, accountability measures, and performance standards.
• Develop and execute custom client sourcing and contracting strategies across opportunity assessment, RFPs, negotiations, implementation, and contract maintenance.
• Build contract and program portfolios that deliver savings, revenue, operational efficiency, and measurable client value.
• Coach leaders and team members, manage succession planning and performance routines, and guide functional change.
• Oversee complex supplier negotiations, supplier relationships, contract performance, compliance, and escalation resolution.
• Collaborate with Legal, Analytics, Sales, Information and Data Services, Operations, Compliance, Category teams, suppliers, and client stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, contracting, supplier negotiations, supply chain, consulting, client engagement, or healthcare-related contracting.
• At least 3 years of people leadership experience, including leading teams, developing leaders, managing performance, and guiding functional change.
• Demonstrated success with sourcing strategy, contract planning, supplier negotiations, and custom agreement portfolio development in complex or matrixed environments.
• Strong knowledge of contracting processes, contract language, compliance, supplier relationship management, value tracking, and sourcing lifecycle execution.
• Advanced financial, analytical, negotiation, presentation, executive communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Relevant degree preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office required.

• Advanced degree in business, supply chain, legal studies, healthcare administration, finance, operations management, or a related field.
• Experience developing business processes, training materials, governance practices, tools, or systems for continuous improvement.
• Advanced AI fluency for business strategy, operational improvement, organizational change, and responsible AI governance.
