Expanded Learning Site Lead

Location: Delano, California, USA. Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM. On-site office and school-based work, including occasional travel to other sites.

Salary: $21.00 per hour

Wonderful College Prep Academy is a free public charter network in California’s Central Valley providing TK–12 education and expanded learning programs.

What you will do

• Oversee daily expanded learning site operations and supervise enrolled students and program staff.
• Coordinate intersession services, schedules, staff coverage, meetings, and payroll timesheets.
• Organize and implement academic, physical, nutritional, and social-emotional activities.
• Communicate with families and community representatives about attendance, behavior, enrollment, and program needs.
• Maintain attendance records, inventories, staff documentation, grant reporting materials, and audit documentation.
• Monitor classroom quality, student behavior, health, safety, first aid, and medication procedures.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience working in a school or expanded learning environment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, planning, and activity implementation skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Reliable transportation and a valid California driver’s license.
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
• Successful completion of a background check, including fingerprinting, is required.

Nice to have

• Fluent Spanish.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
