What you will do

• Participate in an immersive fellowship designed to prepare for a future Principal role.
• Work alongside a Host Principal and school support leaders to develop instructional leadership, teacher development, school culture, and family engagement skills.
• Provide and receive individualized feedback through classroom observations, professional development, and school-based practice.
• Participate in monthly cross-regional professional development and cohort-specific workshops.
• Build leadership readiness by managing complex school situations and demonstrating a strong leadership presence.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of teaching experience with evidence of outstanding student growth and achievement.
• At least 1 year of experience coaching, leading, or managing teachers.
• Strong people management, data analysis, feedback, prioritization, and systems-thinking skills.
• Commitment to culturally responsive partnerships with students, teachers, and families.
• Ability to work autonomously, take direction, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice to have

• Experience teaching core subjects such as Math, ELA, Science, or History.
• Familiarity with Uncommon's instructional leadership frameworks, including See It-Name It-Do It and Leverage Leadership.
