Plant Controller (Manufacturing)

Location: Full-time, on-site role in Plover, Wisconsin, United States

What you will do

• Manage monthly closing, plant financial statements, and standardized financial reporting.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through physical inventories, audit activities, and variance resolution.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and annual operating plan submissions.
• Maintain standard costs, cost accounting processes, and bills of materials.
• Manage SOX internal controls, audit readiness, and reporting compliance.
• Partner with plant operations and corporate finance while overseeing plant accounting clerks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing accounting or manufacturing finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory controls, and month-end close.
• Working knowledge of GAAP principles and experience with SOX-aligned or internal control environments.
• Organized, detail-oriented, process-focused, and able to work independently while meeting deadlines.
• Prior people management experience and JD Edwards or other ERP experience are preferred.
