What you will do
- Lead accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including general ledger reconciliations, consolidations, and financial statement delivery.
- Manage subscription and SaaS revenue accounting in accordance with ASC 606, including deferred revenue and audit compliance.
- Build internal control frameworks, tax compliance workflows, and financial policies that support audit readiness and asset protection.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team across general accounting, tax, treasury, and fixed asset management.
- Optimize Workday ERP configurations and accounting workflows to improve data quality, automation, and scalability.
- Partner with executive and cross-functional leaders on financial reporting, P&L management, close efficiency, and capital resource decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in an accounting leadership role such as Accounting Director, Controller, or Assistant Controller.
- Expertise applying ASC 606 revenue recognition principles in a SaaS, recurring revenue, or subscription business.
- 7+ years leading complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles for complex corporate entities.
- 7+ years managing or administering enterprise accounting and ERP systems, including Workday ERP.
Nice to have
- CPA license or equivalent professional certification.
- Public accounting experience combined with corporate fintech or high-growth SaaS experience.
- Experience with enterprise software implementation, Workday optimization, or financial process automation.
- Experience managing global tax compliance, treasury, and internal control frameworks.
- Experience managing, coaching, and scaling mid-to-large corporate accounting teams.
