Software Engineer (AI Platform)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid with at least 3 days per week in the London HQ on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday

hirify.global is a London-based Series A startup building the context layer for AI coding agents and a platform for AI-native software development.

What you will do

• Design, prototype, and ship product functionality end to end in collaboration with product, design, and engineering.
• Build and operate infrastructure across AWS, EKS/Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, GitHub Actions, and observability tooling.
• Design complex networking and deployment solutions, including private connectivity, VPNs, multi-cloud, and multi-region environments.
• Improve developer experience and platform ergonomics so engineers can deliver software faster.
• Build agentic tooling that diagnoses alerts, executes runbooks, manages dependency upgrades, and reduces operational toil.
• Partner with Infosec to implement infrastructure controls and evidence supporting ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance.

Requirements

• Professional software engineering experience, preferably with TypeScript and Node.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating production systems with Kubernetes, cloud environments, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD.
• Strong systems and networking fundamentals, including DNS, TLS, VPCs, and firewalls.
• Experience with AI coding tools or agents and interest in applying AI to engineering workflows.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, clarify ambiguous requirements, and deliver production software.
• Ability to work from the London HQ at least 3 days per week on the required anchor days.

Nice to have

• Production AWS/EKS experience or experience with private connectivity, VPNs, or multi-region architectures.
• Experience producing infrastructure evidence for ISO 27001 or SOC 2.
• Previous experience in an early-stage startup, self-hosted infrastructure, or a personal technical project to demonstrate.
