Customer Engineer II (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Billerica, Massachusetts, United States; on-site customer and clean-room work required

Salary: $31.00–$42.40 per hour

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and plating systems.
• Apply diagnostic techniques and digital analytics to identify and address technical issues.
• Collaborate with senior field service engineers, customers, factory personnel, and internal technical resources.
• Participate in escalation meetings, track corrective actions, and provide status updates.
• Represent hirify.global professionally while supporting customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 3–5 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment support industry.
• Experience with vacuum-based, wet chemistry/plating, or dry chemistry/PVD equipment using software controls.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters, plus basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport if travel is required.
• Ability to work in a clean-room environment and meet all on-site safety, environmental, and COVID-19 requirements.
