Engineering Technician (Semiconductor)

Location: Livermore, California, United States. Onsite clean-room manufacturing role with Sunday–Tuesday and every other Wednesday shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Salary: $25.80–$33.86 per hour

What you will do

• Develop, execute, and improve manufacturing and engineering processes for new product development and customer deliverables.
• Set up and operate probers, test systems, lasers, micro-assembly tooling, dispensing systems, and related equipment.
• Conduct experiments, measurements, process characterization, product evaluations, and equipment qualifications.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, investigate root causes, disposition non-conforming materials, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collect and analyze process, equipment, and product data using SPC and other analytical tools.
• Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, preventive maintenance procedures, and equipment qualification records.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Experience with equipment operation, assembly tools, microassembly, experiments, measurement, and metrology equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings and use microscopes and precision measurement equipment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a clean-room environment, follow gowning and contamination-control procedures, and wear PPE for extended periods.
• Ability to stand frequently, perform repetitive hand motions, handle delicate components, and lift up to 30 lbs.
