Engineering Technician (Semiconductor)

Location: Livermore, California, United States; onsite in a clean-room manufacturing environment

Salary: $25.80–$33.86 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and background

What you will do

• Develop, execute, and improve manufacturing and engineering processes supporting new product development and customer deliverables.
• Set up and operate probers, test systems, lasers, micro-assembly tooling, dispensing systems, and other specialized equipment.
• Conduct experiments, measurements, product evaluations, qualifications, and technology development activities.
• Troubleshoot process and manufacturing issues, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collect and analyze process, equipment, and product data using SPC and other analytical tools.
• Create and maintain work instructions, specifications, process documentation, preventive maintenance procedures, and equipment qualification records.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Experience with equipment operation, assembly tools, microassembly, microscopes, metrology, measurement, and experiments.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings and use Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment, perform maintenance and diagnostics, and identify root causes.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and production teams.
• Ability to work onsite in Livermore, California, in a clean-room environment and follow gowning, contamination-control, PPE, and safety procedures.
