Equipment Engineer (Semiconductor)

Salary: $78,485.94–$110,853.80 per year

What you will do

• Design, procure, install, and test modifications for semiconductor experimental reactors.
• Assemble and modify electronic, electromechanical, mechanical, and measurement components, including wiring, soldering, cable harnessing, welding, and fitting.
• Develop and perform test specifications, methods, and procedures using blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
• Support product enhancement and development for advanced film deposition tools used in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Collect and evaluate operating data, perform online equipment adjustments, and help control manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Prepare technical reports, coordinate with engineers and vendors, and handle contaminated parts using appropriate personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Hands-on technical skills, mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to work in cleanrooms, confined areas, awkward positions, high places, and around chemicals, electrical current, high voltage, moving parts, and radiation while following safety procedures.
• Knowledge of electrical diagrams, digital multimeters, hand and power tools, acids and solvents, and vacuum system fundamentals.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical report-writing skills; Microsoft Office proficiency.
