Staff Logistics Manager, Support Equipment (UAS)

What you will do

• Lead logistics and sustainment planning for an unmanned aircraft system across design, production, deployment, flight test, and field support.
• Develop and maintain integrated logistics support products, including maintenance concepts, support equipment designs, provisioning inputs, spares plans, and sustainment documentation.
• Perform Maintenance Task Analysis to define preventive and corrective maintenance requirements, task frequencies, tools, equipment, skill levels, labor hours, and maintenance levels.
• Manage Logistics Control Number structures for provisioning, maintenance planning, technical documentation, configuration tracking, and sustainment data.
• Lead support equipment development and supply support activities, including forecasting, inventory planning, repair pipelines, obsolescence management, and sustainment risk analysis.
• Coordinate with engineering, suppliers, depots, repair vendors, manufacturing, quality, field service, and customer teams while supporting proposals and logistics cost estimates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, engineering, supply chain, aviation maintenance, business, or a related field; equivalent military or defense logistics experience may substitute.
• At least 8 years of experience supporting UAS or fighter aircraft logistics and sustainment.
• Demonstrated experience with Maintenance Task Analysis, Logistics Control Number structures, provisioning, maintenance planning, and supportability analysis.
• Experience with Reliability and Maintainability principles, failure modes, maintainability drivers, reliability growth, availability metrics, field performance analysis, and LORA development.
• Hands-on experience with spares planning, inventory management, parts forecasting, repairables management, and sustainment execution, plus the ability to interpret engineering and maintenance documentation.
• Active and current security clearance, with the ability to obtain SAP access.

Nice to have

• Experience with integrated product support elements and support equipment for fourth- or fifth-generation weapons systems.
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-1388, GEIA-STD-0007, SAE TA-STD-0017, MIL-HDBK-502A, or related product support standards.
• Experience developing CDRL inputs, technical manuals, maintenance plans, provisioning data, sparing recommendations, or lifecycle sustainment plans.
• Experience with ERP, PLM, or MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Costpoint, Teamcenter, Arena, or Windchill.
