Fleet Operations Supervisor (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: New Stanton, Pennsylvania, United States. The role requires significant in-truck time, frequent ride-alongs, and extensive travel on pilot routes.

What you will do

• Schedule, dispatch, and manage autonomous test drivers and safety operators.
• Conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, and ongoing coaching focused on safety, accountability, and development.
• Ride along on pilot routes to review driver protocols, safety compliance, and system interactions.
• Analyze vehicle takeover logs with operators and provide feedback for driver and software improvement.
• Execute engineering test plans and commercial pilot operations on live freight routes.
• Manage autonomous truck assets, maintenance scheduling, utilization, and route optimization.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in operations management, fleet management, logistics, or a related field.
• Hands-on commercial motor vehicle fleet experience, including dispatching or maintenance.
• Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance, and Hours of Service rules.
• Experience managing frontline drivers, technicians, or operators.
• Technical aptitude for understanding software and hardware systems, reviewing data logs, and working with engineering teams.
• Willingness to travel extensively and spend considerable time in the cab of a Class 8 truck.

• Experience with autonomous vehicles, aerospace, or advanced research and development environments.
