Senior Business Analyst / Data Developer (Healthcare Data)

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, data, and technical requirements.
• Lead requirements sessions and stakeholder workshops with business users, architects, engineers, QA, and analytics teams.
• Analyze healthcare, Medicaid, and MassHealth data for reporting and modernization initiatives.
• Create BRDs, functional specifications, data mappings, process flows, KPIs, and data definitions.
• Perform data profiling, source-to-target mapping, gap analysis, testing, validation, and quality assurance.
• Support data governance, metadata management, enterprise data cataloging, and cloud data service standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong experience in business analysis, data analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, communication, and facilitation.
• Knowledge of healthcare data, Medicaid or MassHealth data, and healthcare reporting.
• Experience supporting enterprise data warehouses or data modernization initiatives.
• Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Technical knowledge of SQL, data mapping, data profiling, data warehousing, data quality, Snowflake, AWS, data governance, and metadata management.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake Data Cloud and AWS cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience with healthcare, Medicaid, or public-sector systems.
• Experience supporting enterprise reporting modernization projects.
• Knowledge of master data management principles and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
