What you will do

• Design scalable data pipelines, data models, and enterprise data architecture.
• Define development standards, architecture patterns, governance, compliance, security, and data quality practices.
• Analyze solution designs, architecture decision records, and build-versus-buy alternatives.
• Develop technical roadmaps, modernization strategies, technical debt assessments, and migration plans.
• Implement ETL processes and hybrid analytics workloads using cloud infrastructure, including networking and security configurations.
• Partner with business leaders, data engineering, analytics, BI, and reporting teams to deliver integrated data solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Expertise with modern data platforms including Snowflake and Databricks, plus AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with data ingestion and orchestration tools such as dbt, Dagster, Airflow, or Matillion.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data extraction patterns.
• Experience with AI implementation in the data engineering lifecycle, machine learning workflows, Power BI, Agile methodologies, and client-facing collaboration.
