Senior Programmer Analyst (RPG)

Location: Remote within the United States, except California; preference for Springfield or Monett, Missouri. Travel up to 10% is required, with possible onsite interviews or in-person onboarding.

What you will do

• Develop conversion and system implementation plans for client software.
• Implement new code and fixes in existing RPG-based software.
• Provide programming support for interfaces and troubleshoot and debug existing code.
• Test code and fixes to ensure quality and reliability.
• Develop custom programming for customer service orders and document system and functional requirements.
• Communicate enhancements, troubleshooting results, and fixes to customers and gather system requirements.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of RPG programming experience on iSeries or a related IBM operating system.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States, excluding California.
• Ability to travel at least 10% for projects.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends during project support and go-live periods.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor's degree in MIS or computer science.
• Experience with EFT and the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of the Turnover Change Management system.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with SQL.
