Senior Software Engineer (C++)

Location: 100% remote, based in Rhode Island, United States

Salary: $92,978.75–$161,672.00 per year

What you will do

• Create and modify applications using C++ on Linux, React, MariaDB, and Python.
• Design, develop, evaluate, and test system and software integrations.
• Support software requirements, designs, development, and maintenance.
• Perform code reviews and resolve feedback.
• Design and implement solutions within an agile team with minimal direction.
• Collaborate regularly with functional team leads.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with experience requirements varying by degree.
• Experience with C++ on Linux, React, HTML, CSS, JSON, relational databases, and Linux-based development.
• Strong object-oriented development, automated testing, debugging, problem-solving, and network troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with IDEs and tools including Eclipse, VS Code, Bamboo, Maven, JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance within one year of employment.
