Senior Appian Practice Solution Architect (Appian)

Location: Nationwide remote within the United States; East Coast preferred, with periodic travel to the Washington, DC area, hirify.global offices, client sites, Appian offices, and partner events.

Salary: $144,381–$245,448 per year.

What you will do

• Lead Appian technical solutioning for federal RFIs, RFPs, oral presentations, technical volumes, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and proofs of value.
• Shape early customer conversations, identify mission needs, evaluate solution options, and define business value.
• Build and maintain reusable Appian demos, sandbox environments, proof-of-value assets, solution patterns, and proposal materials.
• Partner with capture, business development, pricing, delivery, Appian partner, and client teams on technical approaches, staffing, estimates, transitions, and licensing strategy.
• Advise delivery programs through architecture guidance, solution reviews, delivery risk assessment, and support for complex implementation challenges.
• Help mature Appian practice standards, accelerators, playbooks, governance frameworks, and go-to-market initiatives.

Requirements

• 6+ years of technology leadership experience in modernization, integration, workflow automation, case management, or platform-based application programs.
• 5+ years as a technical lead, solution architect, or senior architect on programs using Appian.
• 5+ years leading Appian pre-sales, capture, proposal, and client-shaping efforts.
• 5+ years of Appian solution architecture experience across process models, records, data models, integrations, security, interfaces, deployment patterns, and enterprise delivery.
• 5+ years developing or guiding Appian demonstrations, prototypes, proofs of concept, proofs of value, or reusable accelerators.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain federal public trust or clearance suitability are required.

Nice to have

• Appian Lead Developer certification or advanced Appian certification.
• Experience with Appian licensing, reseller motions, partner sales, pricing constructs, and federal capture environments.
• Experience with AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Salesforce, ServiceNow, MuleSoft, DocuSign, Power BI, Tableau, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Familiarity with agile delivery, DevSecOps, human-centered design, Section 508, FedRAMP, zero trust, and federal security requirements.
• Experience building reusable practice assets, demo environments, technical playbooks, or delivery governance frameworks.
