Principal Architect (Customer & Revenue Transformation)

What you will do

• Define, communicate, govern, and advance architecture direction for customer and revenue transformation capabilities, including marketing, sales, CRM, ordering, and quote-to-cash.
• Assess business objectives, customer needs, current-state capabilities, technical debt, risks, dependencies, and modernization opportunities.
• Develop target-state architectures, transition states, technology roadmaps, standards, reference designs, and non-functional requirements.
• Lead architecture reviews and governance forums while evaluating alternatives and recommending sustainable solutions.
• Partner with product, engineering, delivery, operations, and leadership stakeholders throughout planning, design, implementation, and operationalization.
• Mentor architects and technical staff and improve architecture methods, governance practices, reusable patterns, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Data Management, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience across at least two architecture or technology disciplines.
• Experience leading complex architecture initiatives and providing strategic recommendations for enterprise-level challenges.
• Proficiency in architecture modeling and documentation, systems design and integration, strategy and roadmap development, governance, standards management, technology lifecycle planning, and risk and dependency management.
• Ability to influence executive decisions, investment prioritization, and organization-wide architectural direction.
• Remote workers must comply with remote-work policies and agreements and be available to support a 24/7 critical-services environment when necessary.

Nice to have

• 10–12 years of experience, an advanced degree, MBA, or recognized architecture or executive-level expertise.
• Telecom industry or job-specific certifications.
• TOGAF, FEAC, Open CA, CITA, SABSA, CCAr, AWS, Azure, GCP, CISSP, CISM, Agile, or SAFe certifications.
