Cyber Security Architect (AI)

Location: Beverly Hills, California, USA; hybrid Los Angeles-area role with infrequent international and domestic travel

Salary: $128,000–$160,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Evaluate new applications and services with Third-Party Risk Management and business teams, assessing security controls against enterprise requirements.
• Review application and platform configuration changes and recommend improvements to security posture and architectural standards.
• Provide security guidance for AI platforms, Model Context Protocol systems, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
• Develop reference architectures, security guardrails, firewall ACLs, and other network security controls.
• Assess external threats using threat intelligence and guide the implementation of defensive controls.
• Support enterprise security standards, security tool evaluations, and cross-functional adoption of CIS and NIST-aligned controls.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience across at least two relevant areas, including server engineering, cloud engineering, security tooling, or security architecture.
• Experience with Windows or Linux/Unix servers and preferably AWS cloud engineering.
• Knowledge of EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, SIEM, PAM, CSPM, or DLP security tooling.
• Technical understanding of DNS, DHCP, VLANs, CIDR ranges, proxies, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Ability to work in large global environments across multiple time zones and communicate with technical and non-technical professionals.
• Availability for infrequent international and domestic travel is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with VMware, Docker, or other virtualization and containerization technologies.
• Python scripting for task automation.
• Knowledge of software development standards and SDLC concepts.
• CISSP, Security+, or similar professional security certification.
