What you will do

• Conduct security and vulnerability assessments for cloud-based and mobile workloads.
• Monitor and audit security implementations, controls, alerts, and deviations from security standards.
• Design, build, integrate, and maintain security tooling using AWS services including Inspector, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, Lambda, and Security Hub.
• Advise development and project teams on security architecture, threat modeling, technical risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Develop security assessment reports, automated compliance validation, developer training, and self-service security capabilities.
• Support SecOps incident response and coordinate routine and non-routine work performed by junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 2–4 years of experience in IT or security roles, including 3+ years with AWS or another public cloud.
• Security+ or another security certification, with experience in cloud security operations and reference architecture.
• Experience with YAML, Terraform or CDK, scripting with Bash or PowerShell, and a modern programming language such as Python or Node.js.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, code-defined infrastructure, configuration management, SDLC collaboration, and AWS security monitoring and alerting tools.
• Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes, cloud-native services, network and web protocols, and application security practices.
• Current legal authorization to work in Argentina is required; visa and work permit sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• AWS Security Specialty or Professional certification and/or Anthropic certification.
• Experience with AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT, Datadog, client-facing consulting, or security training.
• Familiarity with RMF, FedRAMP, DoD CC SRG, NIST 800-53, or NIST 800-171.
• Experience with on-call rotations and application frameworks.
