Intern - Business Automation (AI)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States (hybrid); two days per week in the office

What you will do

• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and workflow optimization.
• Support the development, testing, and implementation of automation solutions using approved tools and technologies.
• Analyze operational data and prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations for process improvement and business decisions.
• Gather requirements, document processes, and recommend automation enhancements with cross-functional teams.
• Provide project updates and contribute to initiatives that increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree as a rising senior or higher, with at least one semester remaining at the start of the internship.
• Degree focus in General Business, Management Information Systems, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Process Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Immigration-related sponsorship and work authorization support are not provided, including H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, and J-1 support.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of VBA, SQL, Python, SAS, or R.
• Automation Anywhere v11 certification or previous internship experience using Automation Anywhere v11.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, evaluating AI outputs, integrating AI into workflows, and applying prompting techniques.
• Understanding of responsible AI, ethics, data protection, and emerging generative AI capabilities.
