Staff Technical Program Manager (Security + IT)

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States

Salary: $248,000–$279,000 US base salary per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and drive security, IT, and compliance programs across the organization.
• Partner with Security Engineering, IT, Legal, Privacy, Trust and Safety, and other engineering teams to implement detection and response, identity and access management, and endpoint management solutions.
• Manage complex programs with competing timelines, resource requirements, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Lead programs covering BYOD and MDM, joiner/mover/leaver processes, privileged access, access reviews, and third-party risk management.
• Improve security incident management, including severity classification and escalation.
• Present risk posture and program status to executive and C-suite audiences while tracking metrics, risk reduction, and audit readiness.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Technical Program or Product Management experience with fast-paced Security, IT, or Infrastructure engineering teams.
• Experience with vulnerability management, application security reviews, security incident response, and related core security programs.
• Experience delivering compliance programs using SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, or similar frameworks.
• Experience partnering with Engineering, Trust and Safety, Legal, and Privacy leadership on data protection, information security, or regulatory requirements.
• Ability to take technical programs from concept to completion and communicate outcomes through metrics, risk reduction, and audit readiness.
• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Nice to have

• BA or BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
• Security or compliance certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIPP, or CISA.
• Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, and IAM platforms.
• Experience supporting detection and response or SOC functions, including 24x7 coverage models, threat intelligence, and incident postmortems.
• Experience with public-company readiness, SOX/ICFR, segregation of duties, access reviews, or Internal Audit partnerships.
