Senior Technical Program Manager, Security

Location: Remote - USA. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Salary: $189,000–$258,000 USD base salary per year, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Drive large-scale, multi-team programs across security, IT, and engineering from strategy through execution.
• Coordinate security, legal, engineering, and business leaders on priorities, dependencies, and shared outcomes.
• Own program governance, including risk, scope, timelines, blockers, and leadership reporting.
• Develop and manage a unified security and compliance framework with practice leaders.
• Integrate external drivers and industry frameworks to streamline and automate compliance efforts.
• Assess risks, improve controls, and strengthen the organization’s overall security and compliance posture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in security, IT, or compliance.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance landscapes, prevalent threats, SOX, and security architectures.
• Experience managing technical projects and programs in technology environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship is required.

• Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes.
• Experience presenting technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong technical background and understanding of software development processes.
• Cybersecurity certifications such as CISM or CISSP.
