Senior VP of Experience & Commerce (AI)

Location: Remote in Canada; applicants are accepted only from British Columbia, Ontario, and Québec. Québec-based candidates must be fluent in English.

Salary: CAD 170,000–230,000 annually, depending on experience and location.

What you will do

• Define the vision, strategy, operating model, and long-term priorities for the Experience & Commerce Practice across the Americas.
• Lead the transformation toward AI-native delivery models, including AI-assisted workflows, agents, and spec-driven development.
• Develop capabilities in AI-driven commerce, intelligent product discovery, predictive personalization, autonomous shopping agents, and generative AI experiences.
• Build and mentor multidisciplinary teams across engineering, architecture, consulting, business analysis, and delivery.
• Advise clients on platform strategies, business transformation, scalable digital solutions, and measurable outcomes.
• Strengthen market leadership through thought leadership, integrated offerings, strategic partnerships, and go-to-market initiatives.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience leading digital, technology, commerce, experience, or consulting organizations at scale.
• Executive leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and leading organizational transformation.
• Strong knowledge of modern digital architecture, cloud platforms, enterprise technology ecosystems, and platform-based delivery.
• Experience with complex digital experience, commerce, or customer transformation initiatives.
• Understanding of AI’s impact on software delivery, digital experiences, platform architecture, and operating models.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing AI-enabled development approaches, agent-based systems, automation, and spec-driven development.
• Expertise with Adobe, Salesforce, Shopify, commercetools, Sitecore, Contentful, Optimizely, or similar platforms.
• Experience scaling regional or global practices in consulting, agency, or professional services environments.
• Thought leadership through publications, conference speaking, analyst engagement, or market-facing content.
• Experience developing strategic technology partnerships, reference architectures, certification programs, and leadership pipelines.
