Senior Facilities Electrical Engineer

Location: Onsite five days per week in Irving, Texas, or Peoria, Illinois. Up to 50% domestic and international travel is required. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Salary: $128,470–$192,710 per year

What you will do

• Lead planning, design, construction, and occupancy for facilities capital projects, including office renovations, warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing support facilities.
• Manage multiple projects, including investments exceeding $10 million, with responsibility for scope, budgets, schedules, governance, and risk mitigation.
• Provide facilities electrical engineering expertise, including low-voltage audio/visual, fire alarm, security, and communications systems.
• Manage consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, service providers, procurement activities, and contract administration.
• Present project updates, business cases, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders and coordinate stakeholders across Facilities, Real Estate, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and other functions.
• Develop project controls, reporting tools, and best practices supporting safety, quality, sustainability, compliance, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• At least 10 years of relevant facilities engineering, construction, or project management experience.
• Experience leading facilities, construction, corporate real estate, infrastructure, or capital projects and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, stakeholder management, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Knowledge of facility planning, construction, design, project delivery, capital investment, project controls, and construction administration.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional certification or Professional Engineer licensure.
• Facilities design or engineering consulting experience.
• Experience with workplace transformation, office development, distribution, warehouse, or mid-to-large capital investment projects.
• International project experience or experience supporting large multinational organizations.
