Sterilizing Technician (Healthcare)

Location: 300 Randall Rd., Geneva, Illinois, United States; onsite day shift

Salary: $18.33–$27.50 per hour

What you will do

• Clean, disinfect, decontaminate, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
• Receive, package, stock, distribute, and store instruments and equipment.
• Perform and document quality assurance testing and inspections.
• Inventory and reorder supplies.
• Dispose of biohazardous substances, chemicals, medical waste, and unusable equipment safely.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow organizational policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
• Successful completion of the required background check.

Nice to have

• Certification as a Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT).
• Two or more years of experience.
