Pharmacy Technician (Sterile IV Compounding)

Location: Onsite in Houston, Texas, United States. Relocation is not available. Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off, Wednesday–Tuesday, 8:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; holidays and overtime as needed.

Salary: $19.21–$26.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Prepare compounded sterile IV medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Apply aseptic technique during sterile product preparation.
• Set up compounding rooms, equipment, and supplies.
• Support cleanroom product introduction activities.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Prepare records and monitor pharmaceutical quality assurance testing results.

Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Texas Board of Pharmacy.
• National pharmacy certification through PTCB or NHA ExCPT.
• IV certification through an ACPE program.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to stand regularly, handle materials, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
