Pharmacy Technician - Sterile IV Compounding (Sterile IV Compounding)

Location: Onsite in Orlando, Florida, United States. Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., plus alternating weekends; holidays and overtime as needed. Relocation is not available.

Salary: $18.54–$24.50 per hour.

CAPS, part of the hirify.global, operates a national network of outsourcing admixture pharmacies providing sterile compounding services to hospitals and outpatient facilities.

What you will do

• Prepare compounded sterile IV medications using aseptic technique under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Set up compounding rooms, equipment, and supplies for sterile solution preparation.
• Participate in cleanroom product introduction activities.
• Prepare records and monitor results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties and follow applicable policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Florida Board of Pharmacy is required.
• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of the relevant technical field and ability to follow detailed procedures under direct supervision.
• Ability to sit, communicate, handle materials, reach, and occasionally stand, walk, or lift up to 20 pounds.

Nice to have

• National Pharmacy Certification through PTCB or NHA ExCPT.
• cGMP training or experience.
• Aseptic processing training or experience; training is provided.
