International Operations Manager

Location: Hybrid in San Mateo, California, with in-office work on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; optional presence on Monday and Friday.

Salary: $210,930–$251,230 USD annual base pay.

What you will do

• Lead quarterly business reviews, regional check-ins, scorecards, and other operating cadences for international teams.
• Plan and prioritize work items, projects, and resources across Marketing, Communications, Trust & Safety, Business Development, Finance, and Legal.
• Manage master project plans, timelines, dependencies, follow-ups, and escalations to keep global deliverables on track.
• Define operational metrics and resource-utilization reporting, and synthesize updates, risks, and next steps for leadership.
• Identify operational gaps, improve processes, and maintain playbooks for repeatable workflows across local country teams.
• Coordinate with country teams, headquarters partners, external vendors, Legal, Compliance, and Trust & Safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in operations, program management, business operations, or cross-functional project coordination.
• Experience with project planning, tracking, risk management, stakeholder updates, and resource allocation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical ability, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Ability to create clarity across multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets, dashboards, and project-tracking tools such as Airtable or Asana/Jira.
