Fulfillment Staff Pharmacist - Accredo - Orlando, FL

Location: Onsite in Orlando, Florida; the position is worksite dependent and can only be performed at this location.

What you will do

• Compound and dispense medications in accordance with corporate and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide pharmacist oversight and quality assurance for pharmacy technicians.
• Interpret, verify, and validate prescriptions, including controlled substances and prescriptions entered into the system.
• Contact physicians and patients to clarify prescription details and obtain new or transfer authorizations.
• Consult patients about medication use and potential drug interactions.
• Maintain production, quality, and service levels; support other pharmacists and train less experienced pharmacists.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
• Current resident pharmacist license in good standing.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with other departments.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment, stand for extended periods, and work flexible schedules during peak volume periods.

• Available schedules include weekday shifts from 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., 10:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m., or staggered shifts ending at 8:00 p.m.
• Each schedule includes one week of on-call duty every nine weeks.
