Manufacturing Team Lead (DUV Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in San Diego, California, United States. Second shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM. Overtime may be required, with minimal domestic travel possible for training and development.

Salary: $31–$42 per hour.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop approximately 5–9 assemblers and test technicians.
• Participate directly in assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Coordinate daily build and test assignments to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production leadership to resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Monitor material availability, production flow, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints.
• Drive process improvements, waste reduction, and operational excellence initiatives across the work center.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant manufacturing, production, or operations experience preferred.
• Experience leading teams, projects, or manufacturing work centers.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing, assembly, or test environments.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S+1, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future and legally authorized to access controlled technology.
